This website is dedicated to all of the firefighters who served at Firestation 21 from 1893-1958.

Old 21 is perhaps the most beloved building in the Haight-Divisadero area cherished by neighbors for its historical importance and recognized by the community at large as one of San Francisco's most important landmarks. It is also a significant structure to many current and former San Francisco Firefighters who recognize the magnitude of the contributions that past firefighters made protecting this part of the City. Firestation 21 is the oldest firehouse still owned by the City of San Francisco.

This building's importance to the community cannot be understated. We hope this website will provide a greater understanding about the building and its significance to the community.
